We held our first Software Audit in 2017/18. This work package was designed to assess whether the flagship codes from the CCPs and HECs are fit for the future. The audit considered various characteristics of the codes including software license, user support and documentation, and the performance of the software on modern architectures. In 2021, we will be repeating the Software Audit. Since 2017, the list of funded CCPs and HEC consortia have changed and, hence, it is important to capture data from the new networks. Additionally, we wish to update the data for those networks that have had their funding renewed.
